  1. Bharatpur Beach :

Bharatpur is one of the best beaches known for swimming and coral-watching with a vast sandy stretch. This beach is ideally recommended for youngsters because of activity options. One can hire glass-bottom boats for coral viewing. The Sea around the Jetty area is full of corals around. The colour and form of vegetation along the beach soothes the senses.

  2. Laxmanpur beach :

Laxmanpur beach is a broad spur of white shell sand with shallow water and offers a good snorkeling option. Sunbathing and swimming are other activities. One can view spectacular sun-set from this beach. This rocky beach lies about two kilometers from the jetty with lots of coral formation, ornamental fish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, star fish etc. The main attraction here is the natural rock formations.

  3. Sitapur Beach :

Sitapur beach is exposed to the open sea and thus prone to higher tides. It is 5 kilometers to the south and at the tip of the island. This beach is best suited to watch the sunrise with an impressive backdrop of natural vegetation and limestone formations.

  4. Natural Bridge at Neil :

One of the most attractive spot for Niel Island. People call as Howrah Bridge, it is the only natural bridge formed by corals naturally and beautiful attraction spot in Andaman.

  6. Elephant Beach :

Best beach for snorkelling in Havlock. Elephant beach is a pollution free sea beach with crystal clear sea water. Always travel there in shorts knee length as you have to disembark in water upto knee deep at destination. snorkeling in deep water with videography is charged  600-800 for 30 min but this is the best activity elephant beach, sea walking for  3500/- per trip, scuba diving for  3500/- per trip. Apart from this there is banana ride too costing  600/- per ride. Change rooms are available for ladies too. Bathing facility is in open bathroom charging  40/- per head & urinals  10/-. Take your towel, undergarments, change clothes in a backpack. Keep sunscreen & goggles always

  7. Kaala Pathar Beach :

Nice beach visit for sunset. Location is natural and untouched. A must visit place for sunrise & scenic photos.

  8. Inglis Island :

Remote uninhabited little island, reachable by boat in one and a half hour from Havelock

  9. Ross and Smith Island :

Ross and Smith islands are twin islands connected with a small area of sands in between, you can walk from here to there; during a high tide these islands are separated; this beach is one of the most beutiful beach in the world with different shades of colour of water, crystal clear water, excellent place for swim and bath.

  10. Saddle Peak National Park :

Saddle peak is the highest point of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The trek to the Peak is  about 8 km long from the park entrance at Kalipur. The initial stretch of 3 km runs along the coastline.  The National park is uninhabited. At Every 500 meter, Forest department has built huts with benches.

  11. Lamiya Bay Beach :

The beach lies a few kilometers ahead of Kalipur beach and marks the foothill of Saddle Peak, the highest peak of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. One can have a long and intense moment of solitude at the beach, while sitting on the rocks and hearing the waves crash against the rocks that produces a melodious sound and brings peace and calmness to the mind.

  12. HathiLevel Mud volcanoes :

20 kms from Diglipur there are a chain of Mud volcanoes could be witnessed in the green jungle.One has to trek for 15 minutes in the semi-evergreen forests to reach Mud volcano. At the initial point, bigger and dormant mud volcano can be sighted. On proceeding further for few minutes fresh emerging mud volcano’s could be seen. Seating facilities along with information boards are provided for visitors.

  13. Kalipur Beach :

kalipur Beach is home to thousands of turtles during their nesting period. During the winter months of Dec/Jan, turtle nesting takes place in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

  14. Ram Nagar Beach :

Ramnagar Beach is a beautiful beach in North Andaman . This beach is suitable for swimming and sun basking. A nature trail for trekkers is an added attraction. This beach is well known for turtle nesting. Eco-friendly beach facilities like eco-huts, benches and seating arrangements have been provided.

  15. Diglipur LimeStone Caves :

A trek through the primary jungle leads to Lime Stone Cave-a cluster of amazing 41 caves. It is a den for swiftlets and fruit eating bats. Best time to visit the caves is from October to March. The caves with a very narrow entrance, open up into chain of small caves inside. Trekking

  16. North Bay :

North Bay is the most accesible place near Port Blair city for scuba diving, snorkeling and sea walk. Though North Bay is connected to South Andaman Island, the easy accessibility is through ferry from Marina Park. The ferry takes around 20 minutes.The lighthouse which is located on the island can be seen on Twenty Rupees Note. The place is most famous for the water sports activities. Coral Safari, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving and Sea Walking can be done here.

  17. Ross Island :

Ross Island was previously the Capital of Andaman before Port Blair. Named after the British surveyor Sir Daniel Ross,is situated approximately 800 m away from the Aberdeen jetty. Settlers developed the area with so much vigor that soon it came to be known as Paris of the East, till it was invaded by the Japanese forces who built bunkers and drove the British away. One can see the ruined buildings .

  18. Chidiya Tapu :

This beach is an awesome place for witnessing the sun set in a clear day, or just relax in this beach in the afternoon & come back after witnessing the sunset. This place is very good for photography. The sunsets on the hills giving a different kind of a view than the usual sunset on the beaches like over the horizon.

  19. Jolly Buoy Island :

This is very small island which is a part of Gandhi National Marine Sanctuary, about an hours ferry from Wandoor jetty  which takes us through amazing scenery. The ride to Jolly Buoy Island gives you a complimentary glass bottom boat ride. It is the best place to view amazing underwater beauty of creatures through glass bottom boat ride. You can view the underwater corals and variety of fishes through crystal clear water..But after watching one cant resist the view of Starfish, Oyesters, Sea Cucumber, Sea Anemones, Clown Fish(Nemo), and other corals. The water is crystal clear and it’s worth visiting this place for nature lovers.

  20. Cellular Jail :

The Cellular Jail is a National memorial situated at the north-east corner of the Port Blair city. Shri Morarji Desai (Then Prime Minister of India) declared the Cellular Jail as a national memorial on 11th February 1979. The building is a testimony of the atrocities borne by the Indian revolutionaries.The jail was built as a 3 Storey building having seven wings connected with a central tower. The seven wings and the tower in middle was connected as in the shape of a star fish. The building contained a total of 698 cells. Presently only 3 out of 7 wings are remaining

  21. Chatham Saw Mill :

Chatham Saw mill is situated in an island which joined to Port Blair by a bridge.It is the One of the Oldest Saw Mill in Asia. You can see the bombpit which was due to bomb thrown at Mill during IInd world war.

  22. Viper Island :

After the Great Revolt in 1857, the British Government thought of establishing a penal settlement here. In March 1858, the first penal settlement was established when Suptd. J.B. Walker arrived with 200 prisoners, mostly rebels from the Indian Army (Sepoy Mutiny 1857). Initially the convicts were kept in a jail at Viper island, which is about 15 minutes boat ride from Port Blair. The island had a jail, gallows, Kutcheri, Doctor residence, etc.

  23. Wandoor Beach :

Wandoor beach is a beautiful beach which the nature has crafted in an artistic way, you can enjoy the scenic beauty it offers Blue sky, white sand, crystal clear water, clean beach are the traits of beach located just 40 minutes drive from Port Blair.

  24. Anthropological Museum :

This is a Place where you can know about the original inhabitants of these islands. The authorities have put up a splendid display of the life and culture of the various tribes along with well documented photographs, models and artifacts. One can watch out the models of Various Tribes of A & N Islands. There are model huts which show how they build their houses, their ornaments, tools, weapons, fishing and farming equipments are on display.

  25. Red Skin Island :

Red Skin Island is a part of Mahatma Gandhi marine national park which includes several other islands too. The national park is set up to conserve the rich marine life in this sea and other islands. The  glass bottom boat ride which showed the marine life in the sea. It was great to watch corals, sea cucumbers, fishes, snails and other molluscs underneath the waters.

  26. Gandhi Park :

Gandhi Park is a green area within the busy city limits of Port Blair. It has a statue of Gandhiji and a Japanese temple. The greenery here attracts visitors to spend some quality time here.

Exhibits exploring the history of the Andaman & Nicobar islands through photos, paintings & models.

  28. Science Centre :

Science Centre is located close to Corbyn s Cove beach. This place offers fun filled learning opportunities to the visitors. The exhibits on display explain some of the scientific facts in very interesting manner. Basically the Science centre offers knowledge in a very innovative manner.

Sippighat Farm is Govt. owned farm maintained by Department of Agriculture.

  30. Carbyns Cove Beach :

Corbyn s Cove is a small beach with good view and sitting options near the water.

  31. Mount Harriet :

Mount Harriet in South Andaman is the highest peak of South Andaman and is accessible by Road from Bambooflat.

  32. Limestone Caves at Baratang :

Approachable by Boat from Baratang Nilambur Jetty (20/25 minute). The boat takes around 5 and 10 persons and cost Rs 600. per head (both ways). The boat ride is through thick mangrove forest. The cave which is about 1.5 km walk through a kachha road but comfortable journey. Different shapes are formed in rocks over the years. The wooden walkway made over the mangrove forest is very nice & charming.

  33. Mud Volcano at Baratang :

Mud Volcano is approachable by road from Nilambur jetty. One has to reach up to Jarawa creek by vehicle. From Jarawa Crek Mud volcano is at a walkable distance of 250-300 meters. A mud volcano is created by natural gases emitted by decaying organic matter underground. As the mud is pushed upwards by the gas, it deposits and hardens above the ground. As more mud oozes out and spills over the edge it grows in size, gradually forming a miniature volcano with rich, creamy mud crater at the top. Mud Volcano are only in few places of the world of which many exists in Andaman Islands in India. One could actually see mud appearing like wet concrete bubbling live.

  34. Parrot Island :

The sight of hundreds of parrots returning home before every sunset is an experience that draws nature lovers to Parrot island. Visiting this small island is an interesting escapade combining bird watching, boat rides trough mangrove fringed coastline and marvelling the enchanting sun setting behind the island.

Parrot island is best viewed during sunrise or sunset when parrots come to roost here. The view of the sunset is amazing and as soon as the sun sets, hundreds of parrots came to the island. They keep flying around the island for about 10 minutes after which they settle down. The boats for Parrot island leave not sooner than 4.15pm and by that time there are no buses left for Port Blair. A night stay at Baratang is required

  35. Aamkunj Beach :

Amkunj Bay beach is a sandy beach near Rangat (in Middle Andaman) Aamkunj beach is located at a distance of about 8 kms from Rangat and 1 km. from the Nimbutala helipad, on the way towards Mayabunder.  This beach is around 70 metres from the Andaman Trunk Road (ATR) is ideal for swimming and sun bathing. This beach has  eco-huts, groves and  also a Tree house. During low tide the beach provides an oppurtunity to observe sea animals, fishes and shallow water corals.

  36. Moricedera Beach :

Moricedera is an ideal location for picnic in a natural environment of sea on one side and lush green forest on the other side. It is located along the ATR at a distance of 12 kms from Rangat towards Mayabunder. Eco-friendly beach furnitures, sea facing sit out areas and their proximity to sea makes it an ideal location to relax. A walkway in between Twin rocks (a unique rock formation) leads to a spectacular horizon view point which motivates everyone to feel “sky is the limit”. A fresh water stream located at this side is not only perennial but also scenic. It serves as natural swimming pool for the visitors.

  37. Dhaninallah Mangrove Walk Way :

DhaniNalah Mangrove Nature Walk is located at a distance of 20 Kms. from Rangat adjacent to ATR. It is a wooden boardwalk meandering through mangrove creek for a distance of 713 mtrs. It is the longest walkway of its kind in the whole country. This place Dhaninallah is named after a mangrove associate locally called as Dhanipatti. This Walkway leads to a very beautiful long beach called as Dhaninallah beach, which is known for turtle nesting.

  38. Yerrata Mangrove Park :

Yerrata is located at a distance of 8 kms from Rangat along with luxuriant mangrove creeks. Yerrata is having a jetty from where ferry is operated to Long Island. Yerrata, which is well connected by road has breath-taking scenic beauty of various species of mangroves and is an ideal location to learn about diverse variety of mangroves. As a step towards creating awareness among general public about mangroves, department of Environment and Forests has established a Mangrove Interpretation Centre which has attractive display panels depicting various species of mangroves found in these islands. A mangrove view watch tower is an unique structure of its kind which provides an opportunity to have a panoramic view of mangroves and adjacent forest. This is the only such tower in whole of A & N Islands to view mangroves. The height of the watch tower is 13 mtrs. The Department of Environment and Forests has developed a Mangrove beach trail having 300 mtrs. stretch of bench walk passing through the natural mangrove forest which is an important tourist attraction. The bench-walk gives the visitors a fantastic feel of mangroves.

  39. Cutbert Bay Beach :

Cutbert Bay Beach is located at a distance of 12 km. from Rangat. This lengthy beach with a tropical forest bordering is famous for turtle nesting in season. One can view the turtle nesting during December-February.

  40. Panchavati Hills :

Panchavati Hills has a beautiful, gentle waterfall. The agricultural farm en-route, housing a rich bank of vegetation, is of interest to botany enthusiasts.

  41. Lalaji Bay Beach :

Lalaji Bay Beachis situated at Long Island in Middle Andaman. There are boats from Yerrata Jetty (near Rangat) to Long Island. One way ride takes about 1.5 hrs and goes through beautiful creek making it a memorable journey. Alternatively boats also ply between Lon Island and Rangat Bay jetty. Lalaji Bay beach is a beautiful beach on the east coast of Long Island. From Long Island jetty, one has to take a fiber boat to get to the West coast and then walk a few kilometers to reach the beach. The island has a long, sprawling white sandy beach with clear water. One can easily bask in the sun or get immersed in the clean water to give a treat to mind and body.

  42. Merk Bay in North Passage island :

Merk Bay Beach in North Passage island comes under the area of Middle Andaman. On the way to the island, one can see Strait island on the right and Guitar island on the left. Near to the North Passage island, one can also see three small islands on the opposite side that are said to be the North, Middle and South islands. Merk Bay Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Andamans. Fine, white sand in contrast with the blue water makes the perfect setting for a day out. The beach is safe for bathing and good snorkeling options. It is also a good spot for bird watching. The sea around the island is famous for playful Dolphins.

  43. Guitar Island :

Guitar Island a lovely island near Long Island. Guitar Shaped, this island is one of the most beautiful island. Guitar Island is an uninhabited Island and no accommodation facility is available. Tourists need to halt either at Long Island or Rangat.
